Aiming to create effective and reliable support for patients with glaucoma and those at risk of glaucomatous neuropathy, the team of scientists and ophthalmologists involved in the development of GlauCaps conducted a multi-stage research process — including both in vitro studies and analysis of the neuro- and baroprotective potential of the active ingredients. Collaboration between practicing physicians and researchers made it possible to optimize the formula with regard to oxidative stress mechanisms, intraocular pressure regulation, and protection of optic nerve structures. On this basis, the patented GlauProtect formula was developed, combining ingredients with antioxidant, vasoprotective, and neuroprotective effects. The result of their joint efforts is a preparation based on current ophthalmic knowledge and experimental research findings, which strengthens its scientific credibility.
